"A few years back started working out with weights and doing tons of cardio and transformed my body into the body of a 30 year old, which wasn't bad considering I was a few years short of 50. Even though my body looked good and with make up my face looked pretty good, I still had hair issues. I have extremely fine hair and even though I wanted to wear it long it broke off very easily. The option of keeping it really short was depressing too, because with my hair short I looked more my age.
This past summer I was facing a major surgery and decided I wanted to get some professional pictures taken before the surgery. At that time I went to see Rhonda and after several hours I had long beautiful hair. The next day I flew to Hawaii and for once I enjoyed myself on vacation, I didn't stress because my hair was going to melt in the humidity. In fact, I barely had to do anything with my hair, I just washed it, and let it dry naturally. I was amazed at how much less time it took for me to get ready. After my trip I got the professional pictures taken and was thrilled with the results. In fact, the photographer had no idea that I was almost 50 years old.
I thought the extensions were temporary and I would have them removed after the pictures were taken. However, I came to love them! I travel often for work and usually work 12 to 14 hour days. Before my hair never looked good, and now I don't even worry about my hair. I fix it in the morning and never think about it again until I put it back in a ponytail to head to the gym late at night. My 35 year old boyfriend (new boyfriend since the extensions) doesn't mind them either. He's one of the cuties I've always admired in the gym, but never had the courage to even talk to; let alone date. I know hair extensions has improved my confidence; I just wish I had gotten them long ago." -- Karen Bryant, almost 50 in Phoenix, AZ
