"I am writing this as a letter of reference for Rhonda VanLanding and the great hair extensions she does. I started out with “Great Lengths” hair extensions. I was told that they were the best thing on the market, that they would not ruin my hair, and that it was an easy process. They LIED!!!! I had to sit in a chair for eight hours. I was tortured each time they put an extension in. After I was finally done, my boyfriend told me I looked like a witch. The hair was not good quality and did not match my own hair. The hair did not stay in. I had over fourteen fall out the first week and had to pay to have them put back in. I finally had had enough. After 5 weeks and $3000.00, I decided enough was enough and had them take them out. That was another painful process and I cried for the five hours it took to get all the glue off my hair. My hair was so damaged I had to have it cut really short. So much for the long glamorous locks I was promised. Now I had a pixie hair cut with dry damaged hair! I said that I would NEVER do that again. Along came Rhonda to the rescue!
I found Rhonda on her website. I was VERY nervous about going to see her. After what I had been through I was sure she could not help me, and that I would not trust her. I was wrong, but this time for a good reason. Rhonda talked to me about my experience with Great Lengths and how her method did not use glue or heat of any kind. She reassured me that if I had any problems she would work with me to figure it out, and not just charge me to reattach the hair. I was so impressed with what she had told me that I made an appointment to come back and try it.
The day of my appointment came and I was very anxious. I was also hurt with a leg injury. Rhonda made sure that I was comfortable and put my leg up on a stool with a pillow. She has a TV dedicated to what she and her clients want to watch, and offers cold soda’s and candy…..really anything to make her clients comfortable. I had a great time at her studio and when I was done I looked so amazing. My hair was almost too short to attach the extensions but with her expertise and skill she was able to not only attach the extensions but to blend it so it looked like my own hair.
Fast forward six months. I now live in Texas. What am I going to do about my hair? Not only do I live in Texas, I am hurt again and can’t travel. No worries!!!! Rhonda came to me! She is so dedicated to her clients that she flew out to see me and to do my hair in Texas. When I was able to travel I came to her studio and we had so much fun watching movies and doing my hair. Recently I moved to San Diego and she came out there to do my hair as well.
I would not trust anyone with my hair extensions but Rhonda. I made the mistake once by using a different person and method. I would recommend Rhonda to anyone. Maybe we can send her to visit Paris Hilton and get her some hair extensions that look as good as mine?" --Jennifer Williams, Dallas, TX
