Four years ago, I was in the middle of a complete horror story and crisis when I found Rhonda. A salon in CA guaranteed that the heat gun they used was not glue and that it was the latest and the best process for applying hair extensions (Hair Dreams). Needless to say, within two weeks I had a matt so large that I lost 2-3 inches in width and about 1.5 inches in height in the back of my head. I suffered total trauma and that’s not to mention the various missing pieces throughout the entire crown.
It was a week before a family reunion and our Lake Powell trip. I spent hours on the phone speaking with hair specialist from all over the country. Still not satisfied, I continued my search and then I found Rhonda. She wasn’t over friendly; she didn’t try to sell me on anything. As a matter of fact, she was a little blunt and right to the point. You could sense her disgust and amazement with the industry. I could tell my situation was prevalent and she’d been faced many scenarios just like mine. I knew that she was my only hope. But even still, my situation was so bad that I didn’t believe it could be fixed.
The next day we met and I could tell that she was trying to down play the severity and confident that I would be fine – although she did suggest I see a Dr. just in case the hair wouldn’t grow back on its own. My scalp was that traumatized.
At any rate, Rhonda, not only fixed my hair, for appearance sake, she applied special care and attention so that all of under hair and re-growth was healthier and stronger than ever. And believe it or not, I’ve been stupid enough to allow myself to be put in couple of situations, where Rhonda was not accessible – I was out of state – and let someone else fix my hair. I have been ripped off for thousands, my extensions have fallen completely out and my hair color has given me the appearance of a flashlight. Oh yes!
